Welcome to Magma German Wine Bistro. Magma provides you with an authentic touch of Germany: German cuisine, wine, beer and other drinks and German music and culture.

Our cuisine offers a broad range of regional German dishes. Beside the familiar pork knuckles and sausages there are many unknown, but delicious dishes and exquisite desserts. Do not hesitate to ask, if you cannot find your favorite on the menu. The well experienced German educated Chef Untung Sridadi Taurat has an open ear for your wishes!

Our wines come from all 13 wine regions of Germany. We provide you with the best of each region and represent 30 wineries almost exclusively in Asia. Beside the famous Riesling (more than 90 labels) we offer a broad range of white and red wines. The red and the white interior of Magma Bistro stands for the colors of the wine, but is also a contribution to Singapore. If you are unsure where to start your exploration of German wines, please ask for our advice. We will try to help you to find the right wine for your personal taste. Also, we frequently offer wine tastings were you can learn about the grape varieties, the wine regions and the wineries. If you are not a wine lover (yet), we also offer a choice of eleven German beers, organic juices, excellent coffee and tea and other beverages.

You may be surprised to find a German restaurant in an old Chinese shophouse. This house belongs to the Siong Leng Musical Association, as you can read on the board at the entrance (unless you can read Chinese). Magma opened here in August 2006. We kept the structure of the building and even removed the false ceiling, so that the spirit of old Chinatown merge with the goodness of our new bistro. Due to our open kitchen concept you can watch how your food is freshly prepared for you.
